Vintage. Analog. Vinyl. Heavy. Smooth. Indie Rock Hop.

Who are the Mendocrats?

The Mendocrats is the musical pairing of Tak the Knife and Doc Huxley.

What are the Mendocrats like?

A record born from vintage analog vinyl sounds, a Moog and an old Hammond organ layered with smooth & heavy vocals rocking gritty & gripping lyrics. This is Indie Rock Hop.

Where is the Mendocrats music?

The Mendocrats can be found on all major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple, etc. You can also hear the whole album on YouTube

Anything else?

First off, enjoy the music (or enjoy trying it). There is nothing better than stumbling into new music and connecting with it.

Second, if you want to make a personal YouTube video or some such shindig with Mendocrats material - we'd love to see it.

Third, check out some of the great bands making great music these days. Obviously, Menahan Street Band, El Michels Affair, and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings (and anything they touch - like the Daniel Merriweather album from a little while ago) should be counted upon for wonders of the audible kind. They make delightful music and it is thoroughly enjoyed by the Mendocrats. And there are, of course, the plethora of old forgotten bands and other brilliant creative music characters that can be found in your local Salvation Army record bins.

Tak & Doc thank you for your visiting the Mendocrats website. Your curiosity might just be rewarded. Download the album and get reckless.

Instead, a puzzle to challenge the best AI tomfoolery out there: You are going to take the 24th letter of the English Alphabet. You will then use the AMPERSAND and then the domain herocaine.com. That should do the trick
